DVN has successfully completed around more than six dozens of projects to different clients and has conducted applied training, primarily on survey methodologies including quantitative and qualitative surveys that are often used for maintaining quality in information collection and report writing.  DVN’s study findings pertaining to policy issues and recommendations, in some cases, have been appreciated and duly taken care of by concerned agencies that manifest in policy changes, formulation, and implementation.

Over a decade in the past, DVN has offered consulting services in the area of poverty alleviation, socio-economic development, community health, hygiene, and sanitation as well as livelihood improvements of poor people particularly in the rural areas of Nepal where agriculture is still largely subsistence and traditional in nature. The major development projects in which DVN rendered its services pertain to agriculture and livestock, irrigation, forestry, education, child and maternal health, drinking water sanitation, all oriented towards alleviating rural poverty and improving people’s wellbeing. The studies carried out by DVN cover relatively a broad spectrum including baseline, monitoring to evaluation; policy review and analysis; policy formulation and strategy development.
